Your task will be to define the target integration architecture, set up engineering standards and oversee quality of migrated solutions – including review of code and artifacts generated using AI tools. You will be closely collaborate with development teams, architects and client stakeholders.

Requirements
5+ years of experience in enterprise integration, software architecture, or platform engineering
Strong practical experience with Apache Camel in an enterprise environment (required)
Experience with designing, developing, and operating large-scale applications in Java and Spring Boot and/or Quarkus
Demonstrable experience with the design and governance of enterprise integration platforms
Experience with modernization and migration integration programs
Strong knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP), observability and monitoring, error handling, and resilience patterns
Kubernetes, containerized platforms, cloud-native architectures and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with integration, contract and end-to-end testing
Experience with AI-assisted development – ability to review and validate AI-generated code and architectural artifacts
Strong communication skills, stakeholder management and technical leadership
Slovak, English at a communicative level
Experience with defining architecture governance and engineering standards is an advantage
Experience with cloud transformation and modernization initiatives is an advantage
Experience in coaching development teams and leading technical workshops is an advantage
Responsibility
Defining and developing the target integration architecture of the modernization program
Review and assessment of migration approaches, POC and implementation outputs
Validation of architectural decisions, integration patterns and engineering standards
Defining development standards, guardrails and best practices for Apache Camel
Assessing the quality, sustainability, scalability and operational readiness of migrated services
Defining acceptance criteria and quality gates for migration deliveries
Identification of technical risks and design of mitigation strategies
Review and peer review of migration outputs from internal teams, AI-assisted workflow and external vendors
Review AI-generated integration code and design artifacts, set AI governance and prompt standards
Technical leadership, coaching and knowledge transfer for internal teams
