Your role will also include overseeing data quality and reliability across systems.

Requirements
Demonstrable experience in the position of Data Engineer, a significant part of which at senior level
Strong knowledge of Python and SQL
Experience with data processing frameworks (Spark)
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
Experience with data warehousing solutions (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
Solid knowledge of data modeling and database design
Experience with building and operating large-scale data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
You are familiar with agile working methods
Knowledge of orchestration tools (Airflow)
Analytical thinking, independence and attention to detail
Slovak/Czech, English at a communication level
Experience with Databricks or Microsoft Fabric is an advantage
Knowledge of DBT and modern data stack is an advantage
Experience with data governance and security best practices is an advantage
Streaming technologies (Kafka, event-driven architectures) an advantage
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices in a data environment is an advantage
Responsibility
Design, development and maintenance of robust and scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
Building and optimizing data architectures and data models
Ensuring high quality, integrity and reliability of data across systems
Collaboration with data analysts, data scientists and other stakeholders
Optimizing data workflows for performance and scalability
Implementation of data governance and security best practices
Solving and troubleshooting data problems
Participating in improving data engineering standards and processes
